    Advice, community support and befriending

We run three projects. Our welfare and housing advice project provides advice, advocacy and support for people who need help with issues such as benefits, pensions, housing, debt or Irish issues. We can help with moving back to Ireland or with applying for or renewing an Irish passport.

Our Active Ageing project supports older members of the Irish community to enjoy each other’s company and take part in Irish culture. We do this through our twice-weekly lunch clubs and through specific projects, such as health and wellbeing days.

Our Volunteer Project offers opportunities for people to meet new friends, gain valuable skills, and make a positive impact on their local community. Our Be-a-friend service connects volunteers with older people who live on their own, to provide them with weekly companionship and support.

    Welfare
